Who we are
IndexMesh Private Limited (CIN U62013KL2026PTC105133) is incorporated as a private limited company in India, based in Kochi, Kerala. These terms cover the website at indexmesh.ai and the free IndexMesh WordPress plugin. For how we handle information, see our privacy policy.
The plugin licence
The IndexMesh WordPress plugin is released under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later, the same licence as WordPress itself. You may use, modify and redistribute it under those terms. The licence text ships with the plugin.
What we do not promise
This matters more than the rest of this page, so it is stated plainly.
The IndexMesh WordPress plugin publishes machine-readable signals about your website and shows you diagnostics. We do not promise, and cannot promise, any search ranking, any AI citation, any level of traffic, or any particular behaviour from any search engine or AI provider. Those systems are operated by other companies and they decide what to do with what you publish. Anyone who tells you otherwise is describing a hope.
The plugin is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptable use
IndexMesh for WordPress is provided for its stated purpose: publishing machine-readable signals about your own website, such as robots.txt, llms.txt and schema.org markup, and showing you diagnostics about it. You agree not to use it, or the REST API routes it registers under indexmesh/v1, unlawfully, or in a way that interferes with its operation or targets a website other than the one it is installed on.
The plugin detects and enriches other SEO plugins, such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO and SEOPress, rather than replacing them, and it is read only toward their data. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any of them, and you agree not to represent otherwise.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you publish and for the crawler rules you set. The plugin can block search engines and AI crawlers from your site, which is sometimes exactly what you want and sometimes not. It shows you the exact output after you save and we would encourage you to read it.
Dependencies and availability
The plugin runs inside your own WordPress environment, not ours, so what it can do depends on that environment. It currently requires WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later, and is tested up to WordPress 7.0 as of version 0.2.0. It uses two daily WP-Cron events that make requests only to your own site, never to a third party.
Where you run a supported SEO plugin (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress), the plugin detects it and enriches its output instead of duplicating it, but exactly what it can enrich depends on that other plugin's own version and configuration, which we do not control. Hosting setup, caching layers, security or firewall plugins, and custom theme code can all affect whether its output reaches a visitor, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with every combination of these. It does not currently support WordPress Multisite, and on multilingual sites running WPML or Polylang it serves a single default-language llms.txt document rather than one per language. Early-stage product
IndexMesh for WordPress is free and at an early version (0.2.0 at the time of writing), under active development. Its features and screens can change between releases. There is no paid tier of IndexMesh today, so these terms do not cover payment, refunds, renewal or indemnification. If a paid product is ever introduced, terms covering those, and any dispute-resolution process, will be added at that point rather than drafted now for something that does not exist.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or the IndexMesh WordPress plugin is limited to Indian Rupees five thousand (INR 5,000). We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunities. This limit reflects that the website and the plugin are provided free of charge, with no fee paid by you for us to measure a liability cap against.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala, where IndexMesh is registered. If you are located outside India, we will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation before either of us starts formal proceedings.

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed.
